Slow the thinking,
automate the making.

Everyone has taste. Most people just don't know how to unlock it with AI. Slow Shapes teaches you where to slow down and where to let systems take over.

Manifesto

The industry is obsessed with speed. Faster generation. Faster iteration. Faster output. That's wrong.

The creative part — the references, the mood, the ideation, the hours spent looking at images and asking why does this feel right? — that deserves more time, not less. Slow down here.

Taste is not a prompt. It's a practice.

The production part — the variations, the formats, the outputs at every ratio for every platform — that's where AI systems take over. That's where speed belongs.

Slow Shapes exists to teach this distinction. We don't produce for you. We don't take briefs and deliver folders. We empower you to build your own AI creative systems so your taste goes 10×.

This is not a service. It's a way of thinking about creative work in the age of machines.

Where to slow down
The creative phase

This is the human part. The part that can't be automated and shouldn't be rushed. The taste layer that makes everything downstream worth producing.

  • Collecting references and building mood
  • Defining visual language and constraints
  • Interrogating why something feels right
  • Making intentional decisions about direction
  • Training your eye, not just your prompts
Where to accelerate
The production phase

This is the machine part. Once the creative decisions are locked, AI systems execute with precision and scale that no human team can match.

  • Generating variations from a locked direction
  • Adapting formats across platforms and ratios
  • Producing seasonal and campaign content
  • Building repeatable workflows you own
  • Scaling output without scaling headcount
AI made production free.
What's scarce now is the taste that makes it worth producing.

About

Slow Shapes is a solo practice by Jérôme Lecoq, based in Paris. It grew out of a simple frustration: watching the creative industry sprint toward AI-generated everything while losing the only thing that ever mattered — taste.

The name is the method. Slow the shapes down. Look at them longer. Understand why they work before you ask a machine to make more of them. Then build the system that scales your vision, not someone else's defaults.
